We have yet to find a manufacturer who will produce a full-spectrum laser at 50,000 degrees F. and up. A base pair-to-base pair, electron/photon interface would have no material crystals/vapors/gasses to interfere with the fission/fusion interface. The sun is a huge electrical generator that emits photons and the electron/photon principal should work anywhere.
